Amble Media Group President David S. Springer, the Mt. Airy Faker of Sovereign Funding Group lore, has found a route back into structured settlements via the use of the old Sovereign Funding Pinterest board with the name " Structured Settlement" and a "stunt double" who looks nothing like him.
What About Amble Media Group?
Maryland public records show that Amble Media Group LLC is a Maryland Domestic LLC filed January 11, 2020, although ostensibly operating as a sole proprietorship prior. The company's address is the same as David Springer's home address in Mount Airy, Mqryland. Amble Media Group has one principal on record and that is David Springer. The one in the farthest left image below.
The Amble Media Group Pinterest Board uses the term "Structured Settlement" as Its descriptor. The website claims that it is in Frederick County, while its Pinterest Board says it is from Columbia Maryland, part of Howard County.
The "Stunt Double"
The About Us section of the Amble Media Group websites features 4 images, one of which is labeled David Springer, but that could never be confused with David Springer the sole principal on record for Amble Media Group. Is "Meet the Expert" (i.e. the singular) a Freudian slip?
The David S. Springer President Amble Media Group
Now 20-25 years younger with a trendy beard?
In 2012, Springer tried to cover up is identity by using the pseudonym James Goldstein, It didn't take long to uncover Springer's fraud, replete with fake credentials and stock photos.
Here is a link to a contemporaneous screen shot of the old James Goldstein LinkedIn profile. James Goldstein , Sandy Jackson and David Springer were one and the same. Springer endorsed his fake profile through one of his other fake profiles. It is also believed that Lifetime Capital Partners was fake . Springer does not mention it or Sovereign Funding Group on his present Linkedin, having "moved the chains" multiple times.
But as Springer has previously demonstrated in the "James Golstein incident", you can't cover up everything. Many of the pins on his "Giggles" Board on Pinterest are links to the defunct old Sovereign Funding website.
Amble Media website says from Frederick County Pinterest company location is in Howard County. It's quite an amble between the two.
Baby caption says it all
David S. Springer is a well documented cheater
Maryland Federal Judge Marvin Garbis found against Springer in Spring 2015, after 4 years of litigation and a 2014 Baltimore trial, citing his questionable business practices.
Springer used fake identities and images in public facing social media. over and over again while CEO of Sovereign Funding Group, admitting the fake identities in a June 2013 deposition. Springer held out Sovereign Funding as having multiple employees but it was simply a sole proprietorship controleld by Springer.
Springer was falsely held out as a lawyer in a still published YouTube video despite not having a law degree
Springer used fake identities in a Better Bureau listing.
At a time that he was President of Amble Media Group, Springer posted a complaint on Rip Off Report in 2016 complaining of $3,000 wired to a Romanian online vendor of a bot that purported to create fake social media likes.
David S. Springer has falsely held himself and continued holding himself out (at the time of publication of this blog) as holding a Maryland insurance license with life authority. According to the Maryland Insurance Administration and the NAIC databases the only David Springer with any insurance licensed is 71 years old and has a Title Insurance license. David S. Springer from Mt. Airy, who made the unsubstantiated claim he was licensed on Linkedin, is aged 53 according to public sources.
David Springer, a Mt. Airy MD man and former proprietor of Sovereign Funding Group, was cited for "questionable business methods" by Maryland federal judge Marvin Garbis in April 2015 judicial findings and memorandum of law. David Springer has on multiple occasions, jiggered his Linkedin profile to hide his Sovereign Funding activity and prior association, in Grenada, with convicted fraudster Laurent Barnabe, from future employers and prospective clients. Springer has also admitted to making up fake profiles on LinkedIn, which he used to endorse himself and fake identities he created and provided false information to the Better Business Bureau of Greater Maryland for a consumer facing listing.
But this takes the cake. David Springer's current LinkedIn profile claims that he is licensed with the Maryland Insurance Administration with a Life (insurance) line of authority from 2016- Present. Neither the dates of professional license that the Mt. Airy man claims, nor the line of authority Springer claims he has, can be corroborated in the most current Maryland Insurance Administration database. I have reported this discrepancy to the Maryland Insurance Administration this afternoon.
Those of us who actual hold active licenses should not have to tolerate the incorrigible David Springer. A 2011 promotional video falsely promoting David Springer as a lawyer, while referring to other lawyers as crooks, was published on the Sovereign Funding YouTube channel, where it remains published today.
David Springer of Mt. Airy MD claims here on Linkedin that he currently holds and has held an insurance producer license in Maryland since 2016, with a life line of authority. But the Maryland records do not corroborate David Springer's story
David Springer spent $3,000 just to buy software to create fake social media likes, then complained to Rip Off report about the Romanian vendor when the software designed to deceive consumers wouldn't work

Mt. Airy Faker David Springer tweeted a complaint last year about Asurion the insurer for technology like cell phones and lap tops. The Amble Media Group President, former CEO of Sovereign Funding Group and maker of numerous bad choices that bankrupted him in 2015 over what Maryland Federal judge Marvin Garbis described in his memorandum of law as "questionable business practices".
What's Good For the Goose, David Springer Felt Was Not Good For The Gander
Snicker worthy is not David Springer's plight over his laptop, but his protesting that the Better Business Bureau gave Asurion an A+, instead of the C+ that David Springer felt they deserved. Despite Springer's June 2013 legal testimony in a deposition that the two individuals, one man and one woman, that he personally listed on the Sovereign Funding BBB profile were fake people, and this fact was brought to the attention of the Better Business Bureau of Greater Maryland, the Better Business 'Bureau of Greater Maryland rated Sovereign Funding Group an A+, its highest rating. Even after it came to light that Sovereign Funding Group was not even a real company, the Better Business Bureau of Greater Maryland still gave what the judge, in his legal findings, referred to as a "purported company", an A+. Another howler from David Springer, a Mt. Airy MD man who complained on Rip Off Report in 2016 that he was ripped off by a Romanian vendor of software to create fake likes on Facebook, YouTube and other Social media.
On November 5, 2018 David Springer tweeted "Dashlane might be a great password manager for the average user but if you are a power user with multiple emails & identities then Dashlane is pitifully inadequate @DashlaneSupport @Dashlane @DashlaneLife" (highlighted for emphasis, mine)
This Proves That David Springer Lies on His Current LinkedIn profile
Thanks to a 2008 article by David Springer plagiarized this week in two places by an unknown, I am reminded of evidence of the dramatic lie on David Springer's LinkedIn.
"Compare our price and service level the next time one of your client's contacts you. Call David Springer at 877-xxxxxxxx David Springer has a university degree in business with a major in finance. He has over 20 years of senior financial and insurance experience. David Springer has been a senior partner with Sovereign Funding Groupsince its establishment back in 2002. Sovereign Funding Group is an experienced, reputable company that offers convenient, no-risk services to help you with the selling of your annuity or structured settlement [http://www.sovereignfunding.com] January 2008
Article Source: http://EzineArticles.com/927280" Remember there is no mention of Sovereign Funding on the Mount Airy Faker's current LinkedIn now, despite about a decade involved. There are also articles from 2005.
If I was interviewing David Springer, I'd raise the question about why this was papered over. so many times in so many different ways. I'd ask "why the repeated lies David?" How about you?
New York’s attorney general has declared it’s illegal to sell fake social media engagement in order to inflate one’s online influence, ruling against one “fake like” merchant in a landmark decision in the battle against bots. It's about time.
“Bots and other fake accounts have been running rampant on social media platforms, often stealing real people’s identities to carry out fraud,” James said in a statement accompanying the decision. “As people and companies like Devumi continue to make a quick buck by lying to honest Americans, my office will continue to find and stop anyone who sells online deception. With this settlement, we are sending a clear message that anyone profiting off of deception and impersonation is breaking the law and will be held accountable.” Letitia James, New York Attorney General
Devumi and its affiliates made $15 million selling fake followers, “likes,” views, and other social media engagement from 2015 to 2017, activity that was generated by a stable of 3.5 million bots and “sock puppets” – one person operating multiple accounts. Some of the fake accounts copied the identities of real people, including their photos, and may have deceived Devumi’s customers into believing they were buying engagement with actual humans, the decision said.
The company also sold endorsements from social media “influencers” without disclosing that they were paid for. This aspect particularly troubled James, who noted that “the opinions of influencers can have particularly strong influence over the reputation and sales for any product, company, service or person they endorse.”
Mt. Airy Faker David Springer, a Mt Airy MD based father of two, wrote a Rip Off Report incriminating David Springer on August 28, 2016 in which he complained of getting ripped off by a bot vendor of fake social media at traffic-bots.com. The appalling Mt. Airy Faker wrote "Radu Laurian Dumitrache - Traffic-Bots.com - Thieves & Con Artists Radu Dumitrache got me To) wire US$3k to his personal bank account. His software doesn't work and now he won't return my calls".
David Springer was a executive, formerly associated with what a Federal judge after trial referred to as a purported entity Sovereign Funding Group, a former purported buyer of structured settlement payments, whose devious use of fictitious creations (as I have well documented) endorsed each other on the professional website LinkedIn and resided on Facebook and Google Plus. Springer's scam was exposed when his fictitious characters were summoned for depositions in a Maryland lawsuit where Springer was the losing Defendant. Springer had to admit his deception. Springer declared bankruptcy to avoid paying the judgment in 2015. David Springer's current Twitter account shows 77 total tweets, He Follows 37, but has 1,141 Followers and 2,743 likes. You would think he was the Second Coming with those ratios. But most of what Springer has tweeted about is unremarkable. Hmmm...
Mt Airy Faker David Springer, with Sovereign Funding, and other Marylanders associated with Einstein Structured Settlements, made use of paid actresses from Fiverr to promote their businesses holding them out as real customers. One bogus still published ad held out David Springer as a lawyer ( which featured in Springer's 2014 trial), a dubious feat "emulated" by the reprobates in charge of Einstein Structured Settlements.
David Springer has a history of rewriting the timelines of his professional history. Springer has attempted to hide his sordid business activities with the judicially found "purported company" Sovereign Funding Group and other activities earlier in his career. Here is the BBB record for Sovereign from March 6, 2012 an accredited since 2003. It is listed as a sole proprietorship and that David Springer as its President.
What its says on Springer's Linkedin profile in 2019, bears little resemblance to what it said in the myriad of other versions. The problem is that you can't whitewash a court record and the record of the lawsuits against Springer which he lost and are available on pacer.gov as well as my extensive commentary.
David Springer, the ex-CEO of defunct settlement purchasing intermediary Sovereign Funding Group, filed a complaint last month with the Better Business Bureau over services allegedly not provided by H&R Block. Why should anyone care?
In his complaint Springer states
Yet in March 2007, Sovereign Funding Group, Springer "Home based business" stated the following on its website according to a contemporaneous screen shot:
"With over fifteen years of industry experience SFG has become a nationwide industry leader by offering higher payments and providing vastly superior customer service to our customers." The way Springer describes it a decade later, begs the question of whether "a nationwide industry leader" is like the King of an industry of molecules in a demi-tasse teaspoon? Or was it really a leader of an industry?
Beginning In 2012, Springer provided and maintained fraudulent information with the Better Business Bureau of Greater Maryland, intentionally misrepresenting as names of officers of Sovereign Funding, individuals that, according to Springer's own legal testimony, did not exist. And this was all public facing to consumers. Made for, if anything. "entertaining" discovery in a lawsuit against Springer from 2011-2015 brought by a then competitor, and provided a backdrop to the "Maryland Cauldron of Deceit" in structured settlements that led to sweeping reforms.
2017 Current LinkedIn
Springer stated he worked at Robert Half from September 2011-2015
Daniel Sears a/k/a Mark Foster apparently wasn't shy about admitting to stealing other people's deals by paying competitors' employees off, including a purported JG Wentworth employee who scored $445,000 in 2016 while still working at JG. Mark Foster is the alias used by Mark Sears who is now a Defendant in a lawsuit brought by Novation Funding LLC . This was part of a Linkedin messaging exchange that occurred in May 2017. Daniel Sears a/k/a Mark Foster's LinkedIn account has since been deleted.
If Daniel Sears a/k/a Mark Foster was going after big companies honestly then why would he need to use an alias on Linkedin? And why would Daniel Sears delete his LinkedIn account if he was doing nothing wrong?
The use of fake identities by fringe of the fringe players in the structured settlement secondary market is not a novelty.
Ryan Blank of Annuity Sold, JRR Funding and associated brands such as Einstein Structured Settlements was held out as Ryan Einstein, with a LLM law degree from Yale in various social media. Ryan's company also used paid testimonials that were held out as real customers.
David Springer, the Mt. Airy Faker, formerly of defunct Sovereign Funding Group assumed both male and female identities in various social media, including Linkedin, Facebook, Google Plus. The devious Springer endorsed himself on LinkedIn through the profiles of fake identities, was fraudulently promoted as a lawyer in a cheap promotional video and used the fake identities in listings with the Better Business Bureau. At one point Springer assumed the identity James Goldstein as who purported to have Yale law degree and a PhD. After a 4 day trial in August 2014, Springer was found liable by a Maryland Federal Court Judge to one of Springer's competitors when a decision was rendered in March 2015.
The Mt. Airy Faker David Springer has done it to himself again!
Springer's current 2017 LinkedIn profile shows him as a sales executive for an executive recruiter Robert Half, papering over the same 3 year stint at First Guaranty Advertising that was in his 2016 LinkedIn profile. Download David Springer _ LinkedIn 2016. The website for that Springer business is now redirected to GettingFitWithKim(dot).net. It doesn't take much sleuthing to see that both the First Guaranty Ads and the Getting Fit With Kim used the same name server even through the privacy registrations are with different domain registrars
Like shifting sands, there are plenty of "striations" is David Springer's LinkedIn
When he was engaging in judicially found questionable business practices running his structured settlement factoring "judicially found" sole proprietorship, David Springer attempted to paper over his past. So renaming Sovereign Funding Group as Sovereign One Lending "for the cameras", but leaving SFG in the details, is just a par on Springer's burnt grass "dog leg right". This all less than 7 months after I published Sovereign Funding Group Faker David Springer's Linkedin Job History Inconsistent With Legal Testimony and less than 5 years after he created aliases, created fake Linkedin profiles for his aliases and then endorsed each other, essentially "selfie endorsements" and was falsely promoted as a lawyer by a $5 paid actress. After all that it's ironic that after the extensive BS perpetrated by Springer on his own profiles and his fake profiles, David Springer is now reviewing other people's resumes at Robert Half International!
David Springer and his Amazing Ever-changing LinkedIn profile over the years
One of the most amusing anecdotes of David Springer's web of lies, was when Woodbridge Structured Funding noticed the depositions of James Goldstein and many of Springer's aliases that were held out as real people, forcing Springer's hand in the Woodbridge lawsuit against Springer. Oh to have been a fly on that wall!
David Springer, of Mt Airy MD, formerly CEO of settlement purchasing broker Sovereign Funding Group, achieved notoriety for what a Maryland Judge called "using questionable business methods". Bearing that in mind, thanks to a tip off, one sees massive inconsistencies between David Springer's current LinkedIn profile and his legal testimony and positions taken as a defendant in multiple law suits.
Here's what David Springer's LinkedIn profile says today

1. Despite what David Springer currently represents in his 2016 LinkedIn profile, according to a judicial finding by Maryland Federal Judge Marvin Garbis in Woodbridge vs Springer
"In or about 2003, Springer began operating a sole proprietorship in the structured settlement business under the Sovereign name. By the fall of 2011 and continuing thereafter, Springer had utilized and/or was using questionable business methods, including:
Falsely claiming that Sovereign was a corporation.
Misrepresenting (in various contexts, including sites such as Facebook and
LinkedIn and to the Better Business Bureau) Sovereign as a corporation, and misrepresenting as real persons who were officers of Sovereign, fictitious persons created by Springer.
Falsely claiming that Sovereign itself was a purchaser of structured settlements rather than merely a broker.
Utilizing the website with the address www.webuypayments.net and other websites anonymously connected to it to redirect Internet inquiries intended for competitors to the Sovereign website. [ in the footnote the court acknowledged that David Springer denied that he owned or controlled the websites utilized in Internet redirects to webuypayments.net. The registrations of these domains are “private” and anonymous. However, based upon its evaluation of Springer’s testimony and the fact that the beneficiary of the redirects was Springer, the Court finds that Springer owned, or at least controlled, these websites]
In October 2011, David Springer was sued by JG Wentworth, the leading purchaser of structured settlement payment rights over various sucks websites that Springer allegedly were produced by or on behalf of Springer. Springer then filed a claim for insurance coverage under his homeowner's policy and was denied so he sued his insurer, Erie Insurance Exchange and lost. Springer then appealed and argued he was not in business when the alleged defamation occurred
"Before this Court, Mr. Springer argues that the “business pursuit” exclusion of his policy does not apply because, he asserts, he was not “actively managing or operating, or participating in the management or operation of a business” at the time of the events alleged in the J.G. Wentworth litigation. Mr. Springer points to the “contradictory and ambiguous” allegations in the J.G. Wentworth complaint, which stated Sovereign Funding Group had forfeited its corporate status as of 2009 and that Mr. Springer's wife, not Mr. Springer himself, had served as its CEO [ conflicted his testimony in the Woodbridge case and David Springer's 2016 Linkedin profile]. Mr. Springer also emphasizes that he provided extrinsic evidence to Erie, in the form of a letter from his attorney, demonstrating that he was no longer affiliated with the Sovereign Funding Group and that he was only acting in his personal capacity during the time period subject to J.G. Wentworth's complaint.
Moreover, Mr. Springer urges this Court to require Erie to consider more than the face of the complaint before denying his claim, stating two factors explored by various tribunals when determining whether a business pursuits exclusion applies: continuity and profit motive. Mr. Springer, relying on such cases, argues that the business pursuits exclusion is inapplicable without a finding that an individual has continuously engaged in a certain field of business without a significant break. In the present case, Mr. Springer asserts:
Here, there is no continuity in the business pursuits Springer was alleged to have engaged in. No evidence demonstrated that Springer was acting within his “customary engagement” or “stated occupation” when he engaged in the alleged defamation. Rather, the evidence demonstrated only that Springer was previously in the business of structured settlements in connection with [Sovereign Funding Group], but that he had discontinued his involvement in that business". { David Springer's 2016 LinkedIn profile suggests there was in fact no break and that he was CEO for that entire time period. Indeed promotional videos using paid fake testimonials appeared on behalf of Sovereign Funding Group in late 2012. See fake testimonial here under the name Jessica P. Here's the proof of the actress named Samantha, http://www.buytestimonialservices.com/product/samantha-video-testimonials/. "Samantha's fee is $25 to say she's a customer of yours. LOL ]
3. David Springer admitted in legal testimony to being solo proprietorship in which he was the sole employee.
4. David Springer admitted in legal testimony that he created numerous fake profiles in social media, such as Facebook, Google Plus, Linkedin, which were held out as Sovereign Funding Group employees. In previous blog posts I demonstrated how David Springer endorsed the fake profiles and acting as the fake profiles he endorsed himself. [ see Sovereign Funding Group CEO Deposition transcript and commentary]
5. David Springer admitted in legal testimony that he was solely in control of the Sovereign Funding Group submissions to the BBB of Greater Maryland.
6. David Springer admitted in legal testimony to having placed the names James Goldstein and Sandy Jackson on his company's BBB listing (that he knew would be facing American consumers).
8. in 2011, a Sovereign Funding Group promotional video falsely held out David Springer as a lawyer when he had no law degree and was not admitted to the bar. The still live video was submitted as evidence at trial in the Woodbridge law suit against David Springer. Springer also falsely held out that fake profile "James Goldstein" had a law degree from Yale.
9.David Springer also leaves a 6 year gap in his LinkedIn resume, a time period related to his being characterized as the right hand man to Laurent Barnabe. Barnabe was prosecuted and convicted in the First International Bank of Grenada fraud in which Americans lost their life savings. In 2012 Springer proudly listed Grenada as one of his former ports of call, why not now?
Why does it appear that Genex Capital does not care about whether or not is presenting truthful information about the structured settlement factoring industry to the American public?
David Springer, the Mount Airy Faker, admittedunder oath in a June 2013 legal proceeding that he made up the name James Spelling, among several others. Yet Roger Proctor led Genex Capital has continually permitted the alias to be published in a testimonial on Genex Capital website structuredsettlement-quotes(dot)com.
Here's
"Ellis A -- Albany, New York
I want to thank James Spelling (this is the fake name) and Andrew Cravenho for helping me cash out my annuity..."
In fact, Genex Capital also published James Goldstein, another David Springer fake nameand 4 years after the alias was created, Genex Capital allows this blatant falsehood to be aired on its website.
The directory also includes a number of companies that are no longer in business, such as Selling Your Structured Settlements, whose proprietor Nick Jackson was recently busted on felony drug charges. During his consultancy with Genex Strategies, Inc., another Roger Proctor led company, Nicholas John Jackson worked directly on structuredsettlement-quotes(dot)com from June 2012-September 30, 2012.
Genex Capital's actions/inaction in this regard, is another black eye, when one connects the dots, to the National Association of Settlement Purchasers (NASP). This nonsense was published during the time that Genex Capital was under consideration for and admitted for membership in NASP. Genex Capital ceased being a member after one year.

In my opinion, John Darer is an excellent consumer advocate in the insurance industry. When I had no one else to turn to after running up against the stone walls of these giant insurance company, John Darer used hours of his own time to investigate my situation. Not only is this an invaluable service to me the consumer but it is also of great value to the insurance industry by providing them consumer feed-back. This allows the insurance companies to correct their faults and move toward greater transparency which improves the overall public image of the insurance industry as a whole" JW 9/4/2014

Your blog/web site is most interesting and informative, and I am grateful you have take on the "watchdog" role!
