First Capital Surety & Trust Company, which is a long serving trustee for a large number of settlement trusts, has announced a name change to Capital First Trust Company effective July 28, 2016. Although not specified in the Capital First announcement, the name change is clearly a smart branding move, descriptive of the nature of settlement trusts and the need of many personal injury settlement recipients to preserve capital.
