Nevada Collection Agency is not a Structured Settlement and Has Nothing to Do with Structured Settlement

A collection agency in Henderson Nevada identifies as a "Structured Settlement" in its company name and its Better Business Bureau profile. The Henderson NV collection agency however, has nothing to do with a structured settlement as structured settlement is defined under Nevada law.  A collection agency is not a structured settlement.

Our interest is in complaints against the collection agency creating consumer confusion for consumers of the structured settlement industry and potential consumers. It's not hard to see why.

What is the Definition of Structured Settlement Under Nevada Law?

Nevada Revised Statutes Section 42.275 - "Structured settlement" defined "Structured settlement" means an arrangement for periodic payment of damages for personal injuries or sickness established by settlement or judgment in resolution of a tort claim.

No.

No.  If there was such a thing as a collector of structured settlements, one could not buy one at a flea market.
