An Annapolis Missouri individual who has held himself out on LinkedIn as a Senior Financial Adviser to David Springer, of the judicially determined Maryland "purported company" Sovereign Funding Group, has received an 80 day jail sentence after pleading guilty to domestic assault [ See 12JE-CR04344 - ST V NICHOLAS J JACKSON Missouri Case.Net] . This is the 3rd incarceration for the individual since 2013. Jackson worked for Genex Strategies, Inc. in 2012 on StructuredSettlement-Quotes(dot)com and other websites, when the domestic assault he was charged with occurred.
That this individual has held himself out as a Senior Financial Adviser in social media, without any license or relevant credentials, is alarming enough. It's another call to action for Missouri state legislators and those in other states, and Congress, to insist on a licensing standard for the structured settlement secondary market just like every other financial profession. Such a licensing standard must include background checks just like other financial positions of trust.
David Springer, of Mt. Airy Maryland, admitted in legal testimony to creating and using fake individuals and social media profiles for the fake individuals Springer created, that were used in the advertising and social media of his (settlement purchasing) business.
