by Structured Settlement Watchdog
The purpose of this post is to alert Citrine Capital Finance to stop sending solicitations to a New York structured settlement annuitant.
The annuitant has a structured settlement that was established when he was a minor. He has no intention to sell and claims that he has told representatives of Citrine Capital Finance to stop.
The Citrine Capital Finance solicitation refers to the annuitant addressee as a client even though the annuitant has never sold any payments. Where I come from, someone is a suspect, prospect, not a client, until the choose to do business with you.
Aside from these repeat mailers that have disturbed a New York resident, Citrine Capital Finance demonstrates a failure to understand their own business, as evidenced by "Accelerate Your Payments to Receive Cash Now".
FACT: A structured settlement transfer involves the transfer of structured settlement payment rights. The structured settlement annuitant transfers the rights to receive certain payments in exchange for a cash payment to another party in exchange for cash consideration that amounts to pennies on the dollar. The buyer of the structured settlement payment rights does not assume ownership of the annuity, because with a structured settlement, the qualfied funding asset (annuity for the purpose of this discussion) remains owner by the qualified funding asset.
FACT: A structured settlement transfer does not involve "the acceleration of structured settlement payments". The portion of the structured settlement payment to the transferee or its assigneee is made according to the original schedule.

On a hunch based on Ryan Blank's involvement with Get Gold Cash, I placed two calls to the toll-free number for Citrine Capital Finance last week and asked for Ryan Blank. On the second call the person who answered said to hold on for Blank. I asked if could relay the message to have Citrine reps to stop calling the New York annuitant whoalready asked them to stop.
