Let's see which jokers continue to "celebrate" the 88 year old Mets former owner's misfortune of being a victim ofJULY 1 holiday international joke day Bernie Madoff on Monday July 1, 2024 (hereinafter "El Uno De Julio") and a "nothing unusual except for Madoff" deferred payment agreement that has been surpassed by other athletes many times over.

The Wilpon dealing with Bernie Madoff was billed as one of "the five worst memories" during the Wilpon ownership era (1987-2020), when the Mets flattered to deceive. See  Mets: Five of the worst memories during the Wilpon era (risingapple.com)

If prolonging a dead felon's memory is the best that Mets fans and certain New York sports fans and journalists have to celebrate, and the best that certain annuity sales people* can do, that's pretty sad.

Bonilla had nothing to do with Madoff, but history of his so called day is a nothing burger without it as I explained here:

  • New York Insurance Advertising law requires the full name of the Insurer to be listed along with the city and state of the principal office. Stating that you represent these fine companies using Insurance company logos without the preceding information are also illegal
