Structured Settlement Factoring Company Rotates MetLife Symbol 90 degrees and Tries to Get Away With It

Structured-settlements.top was a rogue website registered in Spain on October 9, 2021 by a registrant that is was seeking to capitalize on MetLife's logo and leadership role in the structured settlement annuities, to solicit structured settlement annuitants to sell their structured settlement payments for pennies on the dollar.

This type of unethical brandjacking behavior and lack of originality has been seen before by certain actors in or around the structured settlement factoring space. They'll be sniffed out soon enough.

Simply removing the words MetLife does not get the user out of the hot seat. The intertwined colors/shapes are intrinsic to the MetLife brand.

Met Life says "Reflecting our role as our customers' trusted partner, our new symbol comprises two simple shapes that come together to create an “M.” The blue color ties back to our brand heritage, while the vibrant green; new to our color palette, represents growth and vitality. Our symbol and our wordmark need to always appear together to form our logo.
