Settlement Reached in Hansen Lawsuit vs. Settlement Planners, SMA Hub, NBA Player, Agent et al.

A notice of settlement was filed October 15, 2021 in the Pima County Arizona "Secondary Market 'Annuity' Shit Show" lawsuit filed last month and the matter has been placed on the dismissal calendar according to publicly available court records found online

[see Richard J. Hansen, a  single man, and Richard J. Hansen Trust, Plaintiffs v Steffey et al.  AZ. Pima County Case C20214202]. Specific terms of settlement were not available in the online records. SMA Hub labelled purchase orders in the closing books sent to investors with the notation "Insurance Carrier NBA". The NBA is not an insurance carrier. In addition to the one in Hansen, the Nassau County suit identified 5 SMA Hub purchase orders so labeled.

Through the Hansen complaint and a lawsuit filed this month in Nassau County New York, with somewhat overlapping subject matter, we discovered that SMA Hub labelled purchase orders in the closing books sent to investors with the notation "Insurance Carrier NBA". The NBA is not an insurance carrier. In a addition to the one in Hansen, the Nassau County suit identified 5 SMA Hub purchase orders so labelled.
