The goons behind StateLocalGov.Net bought a website that provided information about state and local governments on the Internet and decided to use the SEO boost to write about something that had nothing to do with the subject matter of sttae and local governments, structured settlement websites. The site remains active. Cobbled together with all the style of a flea market and written like an amateur SEO person, with little knowledge of the subject or industry, the structured settlement segment of the StateLocalGov.Net website is a waste of time. The owners never even updated the footer that showed a copyright ending in 2010 even though they acquired the site years later.
One notable post on StateLocalGov.Net is its "love affair" with Woodbridge. StateLocalGov.Net says "Woodbridge is an excellent place to get quotes from if you are considering selling your structured settlement or annuity. They've been in business for nearly 25 years, which demonstrates that they are a firm that can be trusted".
Woodbridge founder Robert Shapiro was sentenced to 25 years in the clink in 2019 for the Woodbridge Ponzi scheme, after filing for bankruptcy in 2017.
