Some have a date with destiny. Others well...
Bank of The Internet BOFI, has now had its date with irony having completed its registration of the trademark "Cash in Flash" in the class of financing services, namely, cash flow services whereby cash is provided to consumers in exchange for ownership of or a security interest in lottery prize, structured settlement, and deferred payment obligations; consumer lending services, namely, providing loans whereby lottery prize, structured settlement, and deferred payments are used as loan collateral.
The structured settlement secondary market has been likened to a great big pawn shop. One company, Jacob Adler's Annuity Casher, is a few doors down from a pawn shop in Spring Valley, New York.
When one Googles "cash in a flash",, the top listings are:
- Cash In A Flash Pawn Shops Jamaica New York
- Cash in a Flash Fast Pay Day Loan Burton Michigan and then there's
- Curtis Cyr from Bangor Maine who says "Come on down to the pawn shop with it all: Curt's Cash in a Flash! We've got deals like you've never seen brother! Enjoy our video here, made by extreme professionals. Don't let Earl scare you, he's 100% housebroken!"
Best of luck to BOFI, a member of the National Association of Settlement Purchasers.
