The Spring Valley NY Adler's insurance agency, that runs structured settlement payment buyer Annuity Casher has brought the structured settlement factoring industry to a new low with a tasteless (some would say sickening) dig at amputee burn victim Terrence Taylor in the image below. Jacob Adler has made a terrible mistake.
The back story...
Washington Post front page coverage of Terrence Taylor story
Press Coverage of Weak Virginia Structured Settlement Protections and Need For Reform
- Virginia’s weak laws allow structured settlements for pennies on the dollar
- Republicans blast Portsmouth Del.-elect Heretick on structured settlement deals
Adler Insurance Agency/ Annuity Casher undermines its industry's credibility by choosing to make fun of Terrence Taylor, the amputee victim, with a young daughter, whose road to ruin was paved by stakeholders in the structured settlement transfer process that was supposed to protect annuitants and the risible level of scrutiny by retired Portsmouth circuit judge Dean Sword Jr (who approved 8 of the 11 annuity cash outs in the space of only two years) and the rest of his colleagues who devoted minimal time to consider the ramifications.
Make no mistake, Adler's Insurance prominently displays its sales pitch on the home page of the Annuity Casher website, soliciting people to sell their structured settlement now with the sale pitch " why wait years for your cash?"
By mocking Terrence Taylor, whose litigation against structured settlement buyers has already resulted in a settlement with one Defendant, Adler's Insurance Agency simply draws negative attention to itself and the clearly observable irony that Annuity Casher/Adler Insurance Agency, is strategically located two doors from Rockland Pawn Brokers 86 East Route 59 Spring Valley, NY 10977.
