Conn. Judge Disbars New York Lawyer Who Has Never Been Licensed in State

by Structured Settlement Watchdog®

Such a headline, which appeared in the November 18, 2015 Connecticut Law Journal in reference to a New York attorney practicing in Connecticut without a Connecticut bar admission,  could well apply to participants in the structured settlement secondary market if long needed regulation of the market comes to fruition.

"Charlatans" from other parts, who "helicopter' into Connecticut or New York to stalk and pillage the safety and security of the residents of those states receiving structured settlements, need to know in advance that there are consequences for improper business conduct.
