.
The summary at Worldcat.org states: "Through lectures, panel discussions, and question and-answer sessions, speakers discuss how and why the structured settlement works, techniques used in bringing a liability issue to a conclusion using the structured settlement, the views of the defense and plaintiff in regard to structured settlement, alternatives used in funding settlements, and tax laws that bring about benefits to various parties".
It would be interesting to obtain a copy of the 1984 presentation from the Library of Congress, as part of completing the record on Executive Life/ELNY, to get another example of contemporaneous thought.
22 years after the dog and pony show with Hoffman, came the SEC Complaint on February 2, 2006
"Digges-a former attorney and felon convicted of fraudulently over billing a client-also conceals from investors his own role in the offering. He omits his name from offering materials and falsely portrays to investors that the venture is managed by individuals who have only nominal roles-steps intended to conceal his criminal past from potential investors".
