Whois records reveal that David Laborde,  who holds hims out as an employee of Peachtree Settlement Funding on Linkedin Download David LaBorde _ LinkedIn, has just registered internet domains with GoDaddy, featuring the names of competitors of Peachtree as well as Peachtree's sister company JG Wentworth.

A call to Peachtree this morning reveals that David Laborde does not work for Peachtree.  The company is due to get back tome as to whether or not a David Laborde ever worked or the  company.

The questions

  • Other than membership in NASP, is there any formal business relationship between Seneca One, DRB, JG Wentworth and Stone Street Capital?
  • Is David Laborde real or imaginary?    The LinkedIn profile has no connections at time of posting.  Another David Laborde in the West PalmBeach Florida area is listed as sales manager at European Onyx. That profile has only 1 connection. The structured settlement factoring industry already has a history of certain individuals making up fictitious names on LinkedIn, Google Plus and other social media, for use in their business pursuits.
