Topconsumerreviews.com is a website that claims to rate the" best structured settlement companies" Using the term structured settlement companies to portray settlement purchasers, or companies that purchase structured settlement payment rights, creates misleading search engine results pages and is inaccurate.
Topconsumerreviews.com does make the disclosure that it pays its reviewers and topccosumerreviews.com is paid for their reviews. It does not disclose from whom.
A number of cash now pushers proudly display their rankings from the paid survey without disclosing the nature of the results (i.e these were paid reviews). When I provided commentary earlier in the year one company representative, a member of the National Association of Settlement Purchasers, disclaimed his or her company involvement in the paid reviews despite his or her company using these topconsumerreviews logo to promote its brand. Nevertheless the site says what it says and has said that all year.
In order to legitimately rate the cash now pushers mislabeled the "best structured settlement companies" topconsumerreviews.com would have had to speak to a statistical sample of sellers of structured settlement payment rights. Where did they get those names from?
Lastly top consumerreviews.com inaccurately reports that Peachtree Settlement Funding has no BBB rating when it is in fact an A+. Topconsumerreviews appears to be confused about what appears to be a spam duplicate listing,
