SEO/SMM "spooks" are individuals who leave comments on other people's blogs that for a fleeting moment seem real, but are merely designed to provide a link back to an irrelevant site it is trying to promote by leaving a superlative comment. The theory is that it's a win win for the original blogger, because they get a "favorable review". The reality is that if such spam comments are left to stand it deceives the blogger's readers.
While we enjoy an interactive experience as much as you do, we routinely sweep Structured Settlements 4Real®incoming comments for spam ("comment spam").
The following acts result in an automatic deletion
- Using an untraceable IP address
- Using the name of a celebrity as one "cash now pusher" apparently did in an attempt follow our Twitter, which we turned over to the celebrity's people. Download Sovereign Funding "Affleckben993"
- Using a scrambled IP address
- Linking to a URL whose IP address, when traced, does not match up the URL of the commenter.
- Comments that is an obvious effort to butter me up to allow a link to stand that promotes a company that purchases structured settlements from tort victims but employs deceptive sales tactics.
- Comments with links to websites that are irrelevant to the subject matter of this blog.
- Comments that include links to websites that have anonymous or privacy protected domain registrations.
- Comments that contain threats.
We frequently discover that our copyrighted content is copied word for word on other websites. We protect our rights under the Digitial Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and reserve our rights to assert other claims.
Some of these tactics have further been used in Negative SEO campaigns that would shock the spooks' customers if they were identified. It's a story worthy of a Sunday news show. Someday it may very well be.
I want to do my part to keep Structured Settlements 4Real® and our other blogs spam free so it/they can be of maximum value to our readers
