Received a solicitation from Bar List publishing today. Upon investigation of the potential place to spend some advertising dollars in the so-called "The Green Book", my search for "structured settlement companies" came up came Kenneth H. Wells, a company that hasn't been in existence for almost 16 years and Mangelsdorf, another former structured settlement broker and fabric of industry history that has not been in existence for quite some time.
Bar List publishing states it has been around since 1939, which on this showing might be nice for historical perspective , but not very useful if you are seeking structured settlement information today. The other thing lacking in the value proposition for the Bar List Publishing online "Green Book", in my opinion, is that it takes multiple clicks to get essential information that its competitors or a search engine can do in one.
