James Street, the former University of Texas quarterback and President of The James Street Group of Austin Texas has died this morning, the result of a heart attack. James Street, 65, was a college football hero, leading the Texas Longhorns to the victory over Notre Dame in the 1970 Cotton Bowl for the national championship and, something I didn't know until recently, he tossed two no-hitters as a member of the Texas baseball team.
James Street was also a hero to many personal injury victims and founded a highly respected and successful plaintiffs structured settlement firm, involved in many state trial lawyer associations and until recent years, actively involved in the National Structured Settlements Trade Association.
