Ringler Associates' Thomas P. Murray RIP (1945-2013)

MurrayTom Murray has passed after a battle with bone cancer. He was 67 when he died on May 29,2013. A native of Staten Island, Tom subsequently made his home in North Stamford with his wife Noel.  Tom Murray was a diginified competitor and professional. I always enjoyed working with Tom when drawn together on the same case. He was one of "the originals", having started in the structured settlement business in 1981.

For members of the structured settlement community who knew Tom and wish to pay their respects, the Murray family will receive visitors on Friday, June 7, 2013 between 5pm and 8pm at Leo P. Gallagher & Son Funeral Home, 2900 Summer Street in Stamford, CT. Everyone is invited to share memories of Tom beginning at 6pm.

  • New York Insurance Advertising law requires the full name of the Insurer to be listed along with the city and state of the principal office. Stating that you represent these fine companies using Insurance company logos without the preceding information are also illegal
  • When it comes to settlement documents it is the ultimate responsibility of the lawyers or claims adjusters who receive input concerning the structured settlement aspects of the documents to actually read the entire document, exercise independent thought and advise their clients properly

  • Most states require that Testimonials represent the CURRENT opinion of the person who made the testimonial. Be prepared to back it up.
