Hate to keep "turning over a New Leaf" but after reading their latest advertisment, I feel compelled to quote the words of New York City Mayor Mike Bloomberg at a July 4, 2012 hot dog eating contest "Who Wrote This Sh*t?"
2. "How much are (sic) each structured settlement payment?"
Comment: They've got that singular plural thing all mixed up!
3. "Does your structured settlement payment stream contain a COLI or COLA (i.e., an annual cost of living increase that result in the payments going up in amount on an annual basis?"
Comment: Here I was thinking COLI meant Corporated Owned Life Insurance and "a Coli" was part of a stanza in a popular old Italian song "When a the food hits a your gut and in a few minutes you have to strain your butt, thats E-COLI!" (to the tune of "That's Amore")
Then the made for search engine question
4. What is the annuity issuer that makes the structured settlement payments to you (i.e., For example, are you receiving: New York Life Structured Settlements; Metlife Structured Settlements; Symetra Structured Settlements; American General Structured Settlements; Pacific Life Structured Settlements; Hartford Structured Settlements; Allstate Structured Settlements; Aviva Structured Settlements; John Hancock Structured Settlements)
Fact: None of these are legal names of any annuity issuer or life insurance company. It appears that the company is just trying to gain traction wth the search engines.
5. Are the annuity payment you are receiving: life contingent structured settlement payments or guaranteed structured settlement payments?"
Comment: Again! Are we doing singular or plural folks. One or the other!
I have nothing against leaves, even new ones, but they occasionally need to be "raked".
