The best way to avoid a biased or unrepresentative sample is to select a random sample. A random sample is defined as a sample where the probability that any individual member from the population being selected as part of the sample is exactly the same as any other individual member of the population.
A survey of 115 captive structured settlement recipients by cash now pusher JG Wentworth could hardly be considered a random sample that is representative of the population of structured settlement recipients in the universe. My initial thought is that these simply represent people who are the most gullible to the cheesiest of advertisements.
NSSTA and SSP member and former Executive Director Patrick Hindert continues to lose the respect of his peers by devoting even a moment to extrapolate from this statistical irrelevancy. Hindert has even stated his intentions to devote more than a single blog post on S2KM to this narashkeit.
NSSTA and SSP member and former Executive Director "Alicamousa" Patrick HIndert continues to suck up to the cash now pusher now best known for "cash now" screaming idiots and fat Vilking opera singers. It should be noted that Patrick HIndert is a "non representative sample" of the structured settlement industry. Thankfully it is only a statistical universe of one.
