Jessica Johnson is Head of Editorial and PR in London for Data Explorers, a firm that measures and tracks stock borrowing.  In an editorial published by Seeking Alpha on September 16, 2008, discussing the Market Capitalization on Loan (a/k/a "short interest" ) for both American International Group, Inc. (AIG) and Metropolitan Life Insurance Company (MET), that even purportedly elicited an extraordinary reaction from " short interest (see right),  Ms. Johnson actually wrote.Metlife_building

Oh dear Jessica! Where we both come from all of the words highlighted in blue ARE insurance!  Considering Ms. Johnson's London office is within "The Square Mile" and a stone's heave from Lloyds, what's the excuse here?

  • New York Insurance Advertising law requires the full name of the Insurer to be listed along with the city and state of the principal office. Stating that you represent these fine companies using Insurance company logos without the preceding information are also illegal
