In the simplest terms, fraud occurs when someone knowingly lies to obtain benefit or advantage. Assuming this definition, "cash now" pusher Patriot Settlement Resources, LLC appears to perpetuate a fraud on consumers in a commercial in which it promises to deliver cash now for your structured settlement.
What makes Patriot Settlement Resources, LLC so despicable, in my opinion, is that it perpetuates the "cash now" fraud using the symbol of the Better Business Bureau AND the American flag. Patriot asks why wait to get small monthly payments when you can get a large lump sum today?
What would an attorney general or the FTC discover if it conducted a complete audit of all Patriot Settlement Resources, LLC transactions? Measuring the time from the initial point of contact to point of delivery of cash, have they legitimately paid "cash now"?

How patriotic is it to mislead consumers using our country's flag?

well, when exactly do you mean?
see I've already waited too long
and all my hope is gone"
