McAfee to Acquire "HACKER SAFE" owner

McAfee, Inc. and ScanAlert, Inc. have entered into a definitive agreement for McAfee to acquire ScanAlert. Scan Alert perceives this as an exciting development that will increase the adoption of its
HACKER SAFE certification as the Internet security standard, and expand our technology leadership in the Web site security industry. Upon closing the acquisition, McAfee will integrate ScanAlert into its
new Web Safety Group as a centerpiece of its strategy to deliver triple-play protection, to secure consumers’ PCs, Web experiences, and mobile phones.
