U.S. fans of the  EnglishPremier League (EPL) will be able to see action from arguably the world’s top professional footabll league, on the Internet and on their cellular phones when it kicks off its new season in August.

According to a June 11, 2007 report on Variety's  Multichannel.com, Fox Soccer Channel -- through a deal covering the next three seasons, terms of which were not disclosed -- has gained exclusive U.S. mobile and Internet highlight rights, as well as the capability to stream live matches.

In the United States it is known as soccer but in the rest of the world is its known as Football, Futbol, Voetbal, Fusbal and it is celebrated with a passion. I have shared that passion having spent my formative years living in London. This may sound a bit nutty but part of my daily routine involves scanning the on line version of the sports section of every English newspaper for news, commentary and gossip about what's going on. I have to be in the know and so regardless of whether you say football, futbol, voetbal, fusbal or soccer you too will be able to stay on the pulse with all the resources that I plan to put together here.
